GET INVOLVED

Second Chance Medical welcomes medical collaboration with other non-profit organizations from all over the world. We recommend the collaboration to be done in the following steps:

• Identify a local Point Person/Program Manager to work in collaboration with counterpart in The Second Chance Medical Program.

• Start identifying patients previously cancelled from medical care, in already established centers, and/or in countries with highly functioning local foundations. 

• Identify need in terms of previously cancelled patients, and identify hospitals with sufficient medical facilities to ensure safe anaesthesia, surgery and postoperative care at these newly identified locations. 

• Obtaining necessary equipment and medications. Most of the needed specialized equipment is available within The Second Chance Medical Program, but some additional items may need to be secured on site.
